Elder Law

LAF represents seniors (60 and over) in all the areas of law we handle, with an emphasis on consumer fraud, homeownership preservation, elder abuse (physical or financial), Medicare Part D issues, and other public benefits.  There are no financial limitations on eligibility, although we concentrate on helping people who cannot afford to pay for legal representation.

If you are a senior living outside the City of Chicago, you can contact our North Suburban, South Suburban, or West Side offices.

If you are a senior living in the City of Chicago, you should call the Chicago Dept. of Senior Services at 312-744-4016 or 311 and ask for legal assistance for seniors.
