• Someone offered to help you avoid foreclosure, pay taxes, or otherwise save your home, and, to do so, you temporarily transferred title (ownership) of your home, expecting to get title (ownership) back, but now you are being evicted or otherwise losing your home;
• You are otherwise the victim of some type of predatory lending or mortgage fraud;
• Your home was sold in foreclosure and you need help getting the surplus proceeds (the money left over after the home is sold);
• You are facing the loss of your home due to the non-payment of real estate taxes;
• Someone else is improperly claiming to be the owner of your home, or to have some interest in your home;
• You are, for some other reason, facing the loss of your home.
