  • Your heat or hot water has been shut off, and your landlord is responsible for providing these utility services;
  • The housing authority is terminating your Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher;
  • You are having other problems with Section 8, such as the housing authority’s failure to adjust your rent when your income changes, failure to add a family member to your voucher or failure to process your moving papers.
  • The Chicago Housing Authority has violated your relocation rights as a displaced resident, including your right to return to a newly constructed unit.
  • Your landlord or housing authority has denied your application for an apartment or a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher.
