LAF YOUNG PROFESSIONALS BOARD
The LAF YPB is a group of young professionals that supports LAF's mission to provide free legal services to low-income people in need. Throughout the year the YPB sponsors social events, participates in fundraising initiatives and engages in community outreach efforts to raise awareness and build support for LAF and its programs. The YPB is comprised of members representing a diverse range of professions and affiliations, including law, consulting, academia, finance and public service.

Join us for a cocktail reception and open house on February 9th in LAF's new offices, and learn about the work LAF is doing to make equal justice a reality for the most vulnerable people in our community.
Meet client community members who are serving on LAF's Governing Board, and hear about their involvement with LAF.
We will be taking a tour of LAF's new space, and hearing from LAF attorneys about the work they're doing to represent the poor and disadvantaged throughout Cook County.
Following the reception, we invite you to attend the first YPB Membership meeting of 2012, to find out how you can be involved with us in the coming year. We have big plans for 2012 and we want YOU to be involved!

For over 40 years, LAF has been providing free legal help to poor and disabled people in metropolitan Chicago to resolve non-criminal issues such as domestic violence, consumer fraud, and unfair evictions. Each year LAF impacts 60,000 lives by helping poor families and individuals to resolve their non-criminal legal issues and get back on track. LAF relies on private donations to fulfill its mission.
